How do I add a voiceover to a video?
Record your narration (any quiet room and a phone or USB mic works), then drag the audio file onto a track beneath your video in the editor. Slide it to sync with what's on screen, trim silences, and if there's music, drop the music volume well below the voice. In EseCut this is standard multi-track work: video on top, voiceover under it, music quietest at the bottom.
Recording tip: read each section twice in one take and keep the better read during the edit — retakes-in-place beat re-recording sessions. And caption the voiceover; narration-driven videos lose muted viewers without text.
