How-to basics

How do I add stickers or emojis to a video?

Any transparent PNG (emoji images, arrows, badges, your own graphics) works as an overlay layer: drag it onto a track above your video, position and scale it, and trim it to appear exactly when you want. In EseCut you can also animate it — a motion preset makes an emoji pop in with a bounce — and add text layers for the classic caption-plus-emoji look.

Doing this in the editor instead of a platform's sticker tool means the overlay is baked into your export: the same video posts identically to TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, and stickers never vanish because a platform retired its pack.
