How do I cut out the middle of a video?
Split the clip twice — once where the unwanted section starts, once where it ends — then delete the middle piece and slide the remaining parts together. In EseCut: put the playhead at each point, use the split (razor) tool, select the middle segment, delete, done. Export produces one continuous video with the section gone.
If the cut is jarring (same framing before and after creates a visible jump), either add a quick transition or, better, cut to a different angle or a zoom-punched version of the same shot — the standard jump-cut disguise.
