How-to basics

How do I remove audio from a video?

In EseCut: drop the video on the timeline and mute its audio track — one click, done. Export and you have a silent video, or add a music track or voiceover underneath before exporting to replace the original sound entirely. This is the standard workflow for reusing footage whose original audio is noisy, private, or copyrighted.

Removing audio is also the fix when a platform flags background music in otherwise original footage: mute the original track, lay in licensed music, and re-export — the visual content stays untouched.
